Aidan joined Brigshaw Learning in 2021 from One Degree Academy, where he served as founding Principal, and Aim Academies Trust where he worked across different schools.

Chief Operating Officer

Julie joined the trust in 2022. Previously she led on operations and compliance at The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust.

Tiana Walker

Finance Director

Tiana joined Brigshaw Trust as Finance Director in 2017. Previously she worked in the school finance team at Leeds City Council.

Director of Primary

Luke joined the executive team at Brigshaw Trust in May 2023 as Director of Primary from Dixons Academies Trust, where he was Principal at Dixons Music Primary.

Ann-Marie Spry

Ann-Marie Spry

Vice Chair of the Board; Standards & Curriculum Committee

Ann-Marie is Vice Principal at Leeds City College, which is the third largest FE college in the country, and has been a senior leader and manager for over 20 years. She has significant knowledge and experience of the education sector. Ann-Marie has managed large budgets and has experience of managing a college merger, successfully bringing together separate organisations with different cultures and ethos.

Rachael Bajulaiye

Rachael Bajulaiye

Audit and Risk Committee

Rachael is a Director at Harriet Medical Services and a Solicitor (non-practising). She is also a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Rachel has particular interest in compliance, governance and child protection. She has worked as a Legal Advisor and a Company Secretarial Assistant and has previously been a trustee for a charity.

Dave Noble

Dave Noble

Finance and Resources Committee

Dave offers Brigshaw a wealth of experience having previously worked with schools and Multi Academy Trusts in Leeds. He was instrumental in the development of the Temple Newsam Learning Partnership and opening the Temple Learning Academy. Prior to his education experience, Dave worked in the private sector for 23 years in various HR, operations and customer support senior management roles.

Neil Clephan

Neil Clephan

Standards and Curriculum (Chair) Pay Committee; Emergency Committee and Finance & Resources Committee

Neil has twenty years’ experience as Headteacher at Roundhay School, a large 4 to 18 school serving diverse communities. He has significant experience as a National Leader of Education (NLE) working in partnership with many schools, governing boards and senior teams, providing school to school support. Neil is a founding strategic partner of the Red Kite Teaching School Alliance. Neil brings his wealth of educational knowledge and experience to the board of the Brigshaw Learning Partnership.

Emma Jackson

Emma Jackson

Standards & Curriculum Committee; Audit and Risk Committee and Emergency Committee (Chair)

Emma is a History graduate with ten years’ experience of successful middle and senior management in a major multi-store retailer. Emma has experience of all aspects of running a large and complex commercial operation and high level inter-personal and organisational skills. Now a stay at home mum of one, Emma is keen to offer her time and energy to benefit the Brigshaw Learning Partnership. As well as a Director of the Trust, Emma is Chair of Governors at Kippax Greenfield Primary School and has an active role on the PTA.

Stuart McDougall

Stuart McDougall

Recently retired partner at EY global Tax service and previously a partner at KPMG, Stuart has worked in industry and professional services, principally, in international tax and finance roles. Stuart's roles have been in the UK and abroad. Stuart has expertise in law, operational transformation, risk management, process improvement and finance.

Ken Morton

Ken Morton

Ken worked for over 30 years with Leeds City Council in Education and Children Services – latterly as Head of Service for Young People and Skills with responsibilities for Youth Services, Information, Advice and Guidance service, and the school arts and music services. Since retiring Ken has also built up a portfolio of volunteer ‘governance’ roles including: Governor with the Luminate Education Group serving as governor on the Group Board and Chair of the Leeds City College Board, Safeguarding and SEND link governor. Member of the Brigshaw Learning Partnership, governor at Kippax Ashtree Academy. Chair of. Governors of Springwell Leeds and Harrogate (an SEMH Special School).

Kirsty Malloch

Kirsty Malloch

Kirsty is an ex pupil of BLP schools; Methley Primary School and Brigshaw High School. Whilst at school, in addition to her studies, Kirsty embraced every opportunity, taking on the role of student ambassador for our huge international Olympic legacy project. One of her first tasks was to persuade all of our partner primary schools to get involved in hosting over 200 international students from ten countries. After leaving school, Kirsty graduated in Law with first class honours, received the prestigious Neuberger prize, was awarded the Denning Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn, completed Bar Professional training and qualified as a barrister.

Martin Dove

Martin Dove

Martin Dove has given invaluable service to the Brigshaw Learning Partnership. He was previously Chair of Governors at Brigshaw High School for over 15 years and was instrumental in the development of the Brigshaw Trust. Martin has extensive experience in education, including three headships and decades of experience in school governance.

Peter Laurence

Peter Laurence

Peter Laurence’s association with the Brigshaw community goes back to 1997 when he became Headteacher of Brigshaw High school. Peter was instrumental in the establishment and design of the successful partnership which evolved from a soft federation to a co-operative trust and, in 2016, to a Multi-Academy Trust. Peter led Brigshaw High School until 2008. He subsequently focused on the trust as Development Director. Peter retired from this role in 2018 but continues to support the BLP, becoming a Member in September 2020, amongst other voluntary governance roles across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
